Meet the team

Get to know the team who support you as a young carer!

Hi, we’re the Young Carers team at Carers in Hertfordshire. We’re here to make sure young carers like you know that you are not alone.

Some of the team’s job is to come and visit you at home to find out what is important to you and how we might be able to help you. You’ll see some of us at the activities and events that we run through the school holidays. We are all out and about quite a lot, and love chatting to young carers.

Here’s the team:

Emy

Naomi

Gemma

“I’m the Young Carers Manager. I manage the service and the team, but have worked in other jobs in the team before. You’ll still see me at events during the holidays, otherwise I’d miss seeing you all!”

Amy

“I’m the Co-production Lead. I organise the activities and work with the Young Carers Council to plan events like the YC Conference. Look forward to seeing you at an activity soon!”

Laura
